This means that the product is packaged after being heated, or that the product is heated after being packaged. Products with this kind of labeling have already been heat-treated, so they are safe to eat as is. With the exception of some products, Ark's ham, bacon, and sausage are heat-treated during the manufacturing process, so we think they are delicious as is.
