Nice to meet you all.
Sales Department West Japan Sales Office Nobuyuki Uda My name is.
I joined the company on April 21st of this year and underwent two months of training in Iwate. I was able to experience work in all the departments that support Ark Tategamori, including production, processing, and sales, and meet many of the people who work there.
One of the most unforgettable moments was the first time I came face to face with a pig. The first time I ever saw a pig was a large sow. It was so imposing that I was petrified and honestly felt scared to get close. But strangely enough, as time went on, I got used to its presence, and eventually its movements and expressions began to look very cute to me. This change in emotions, which I felt precisely because I was working in a place where I was seriously dealing with life, remains strongly in my mind even now.
As someone who was born and raised in the Kansai region, the livestock industry was not something I was particularly familiar with. Seeing the work of raising life in the vast natural surroundings of Iwate really brought home to me the importance of the saying, "food is life." Meanwhile, I also witnessed the realities of labor shortages and rising costs facing Japan's agriculture and livestock industries, and I felt strongly that the food we eat is supported by the efforts of those working in the field.
I joined the West Japan Sales Office on June 21st, and it has been three months since I started working as a salesperson. As I introduce products to customers, what motivates me is the "on-site passion" and "accumulation of hard work" that I learned in Iwate. I feel that my mission is to fully embrace those passions and connect them to our customers.
We will continue to strive to deliver the "joy of food" and "the passion of producers" to everyone in Western Japan through Ark Tategamori products. Furthermore, through this experience, we would like to convey to many people the current state and importance of agriculture in Japan.
We look forward to your continued support.
