It's already been six months since I joined Ark.

When we visited our business partners after winter arrived, we heard them say, "We had a customer looking for eggs to keep the weather warm, so we introduced them to Ark Tategamori's old eggs."

Kan no uchi eggs are eggs laid by chickens during the coldest period of the year, known as "kan no uchi" (from around January 5th to February 3rd).
As chickens endure the cold, they store nutrients in their bodies, so eggs from this time of year are said to be richer in flavor and more nutritious than usual. Because they are rich in nutrients, they are considered lucky charms that bring good health, and because of the dark color of their yolks, they are said to bring good fortune in terms of money.

I only learned about Kan no Uchi Eggs after coming to ARK. These eggs are laid during the cold season and are eaten in hopes of improving luck and ensuring good health. They somehow make you feel a little warmer even in the cold winter.

Since I learned about Kannouchi Tamago, when I saw customers putting Kannouchi Mukashi Tamago in their shopping carts at our partner supermarket, I silently prayed in my heart for happy events to come.

This year, many people enjoyed the winter eggs, which are packed with nutrition, love, and good fortune.

These chickens have survived the cold weather of Iwate with vigor. As spring approaches and the weather warms, they will surely run around the fields together, find love, and produce even more delicious eggs.
