Sunday, February 22, 2026The 2nd Ark Tategamori Gotsuo Ekidenwas held in a grand manner.

A total of 55 teams entered the tournament, which is being held for the second time this year.
Four people relayed a sash over a 21.2km round trip course, and the fierce competition unfolded under the favorable weather conditions.

Runners were also supported at each relay point and finish line by being served pork miso soup, egg soup, snacks, drinks, and more. After the race, the buffet at the natural food restaurant Till's offered a "Gotsuo" meal made with plenty of Ark Tategamori products, including the branded "Tategamori Kogen Pork" and "fertilized eggs from the past." Furthermore, at "Masabo no Yu" inside the Tategamori Kogen Hotel, runners were able to relax in a semi-natural thoron hot spring, which uses "thoron ore," a mineral that generates negative ions, allowing them to wash away the sweat after the race.

All of our staff members provided the utmost hospitality, aiming to ensure that all participants were truly satisfied with the tournament.

■Award Ceremony

The awards ceremony for first to third place was held at 11:00 a.m. on the day, and certificates and prizes were presented to the winners. "I want to run with Yuki-san!", participating for the first time this year, defeated last year's winning team, "Red and Hot Chili Chili Peppers," to claim their first victory. "Osaki RC" also achieved third place, following on from last year, making for a heated contest.
