Here in Ichinoseki City, the rainy season has begun, and it's been raining continuously, but the occasional glimpses of blue sky are starting to give us a hint of summer.

During this season, what I feel most strongly while interacting with the chickens every day is the strong connection between "food" and "life." This time, I'd like to introduce you to our "Egg Gathering Experience" and "Egg School," which will give you a glimpse of this connection.

In the egg-gathering experience, you can enter the chicken coop and pick up freshly laid eggs with your own hands. Many people are surprised by the warmth they feel the moment they pick them up, and they realize that even the eggs they eat so casually every day contain the warmth of life. This experience is popular with both children and adults.

At "Tamago no Gakko" (Egg School), a facility where you can experience collecting eggs, we explain in the easiest way possible how eggs get to our tables, including how chickens are raised and the daily efforts involved. We hope that by learning about this, you will feel even a little bit of gratitude for the food we eat and the importance of life.

Furthermore, we raise our chickens through open-air grazing. In fact, this practice is said to be rare in Japan, accounting for less than 1% of all farms. Although it is labor-intensive, we strive to provide our chickens with an environment as close to nature as possible.

We believe that these daily efforts contribute to the delicious taste of our eggs. We welcome you while cherishing the time we spend together, where you can learn and discover things while having fun.
