My name is Kiyoshi Sasaki, and I have recently been transferred from the Hanaizumi Farm in the Pig Farming Division to the Farming and Livestock Department of the Ranching Division. At 67 years old, I am now in a new environment, and I am struggling to adapt to it every day. Before the transfer, I had somewhat naive expectations that I would be able to work peacefully amidst the beautiful scenery of the ranch.

However, in reality, I'm involved in farm management and face the challenges of growing vegetables without relying on chemical pesticides every day. Paying attention to the weather, soil conditions, and changes in the crops is far more delicate than I imagined, and for someone with limited experience like me, every step is a learning experience.

Nevertheless, encouraged by the resilience of vegetables that respond to the care given to them, we will continue to meticulously manage our greenhouses and strive to grow healthy and delicious vegetables. Through this new challenge, we hope to be of service in any way we can.
