On Sunday, February 1st, the 11th Tategamori Gotsuo Marathon was held without incident.
The day was blessed with fine weather, and about 250 people participated. It was a refreshing day with clear air, typical of winter in Tategamori.

This year's marathon course was in excellent condition, both in terms of road surface and weather, with many participants saying that the conditions were the best they've ever experienced. The organizing committee and all involved are very pleased with this.

Every year, the Tategamori Gotsuo Marathon places great importance on providing "Tategamori-style hospitality" in addition to the "fun of running."
As in previous years, participants were welcomed with free pork miso soup, amazake (sweet sake), and apple juice, as well as hot springs where they could relax and soothe their fatigue after their run.
We have been trying to provide the best possible hospitality as we have prepared for the event, but we are sure there were some shortcomings. Nevertheless, we were able to complete the event without any problems thanks to the support of everyone's smiles and kind words.
