8On Sunday, the 16th of the month, we will hold "Egg School Summer Vacation Special Extracurricular Classes".

This initiative is being implemented with the aim of allowing local children to fully enjoy their summer vacation in 2026 while experiencing a farm full of nature. It is open to residents of Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, and those who attend school or work in the city. For every adult who purchases an admission ticket, one child aged 4 to elementary school age will be admitted free of charge.

□ "Tategamori Summer Vacation 2026 / Kids Free Campaign"

• Period: July 25, 2026 (Sat) - August 16, 2026 (Sun)
• Eligible: People who live in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, or who commute to school or work in the city

Upon entering, you will be required to show proof of your driver's license or insurance card.

This offer does not apply to annual pass holders. Furthermore, it cannot be combined with other discount coupons or benefits.

• Contents:       

For every adult admission ticket purchased (1,200 yen including tax), one child (ages 4 to elementary school age) will receive free admission (normally 600 yen including tax).

□ Participate and solve your summer vacation research project! "Egg School Special Extracurricular Class" will be held on August 16th (Sunday)

• Contents: Learn about chicken farming, egg-laying processes, and how eggs reach your home in a fun way!

□ Summer vacation activities you can enjoy during the "Tategamori Summer Vacation" period

Ark Tategamori will be holding the following events as part of its summer vacation program for 2026.

• Rocket-launched sprinkler:

In the "Fragrant Wind Garden" at the farm entrance area, water is sprinkled with a rocket-launched sprinkler during the day. It is said that sprinkling water can lower the perceived temperature by 1.5°C, so you can have fun while enjoying the refreshing feeling. (Held irregularly)

• Water play Rental water guns:

Let's play with water guns using the water collected from the rocket-launching sprinkler. We have a wide variety of water guns available for rental for 100 to 300 yen for 30 minutes.

• insect catching:

A classic summer vacation independent study, insect collecting, can be done at Ark Tategamori! The vast 100-hectare ranch is home to many insects, including the giant dragonfly and black swallowtail, which are said to be the strongest insects. Bring a bug cage and a bug net with you when you go out.

• Get a free mascot at the Snow Dome Workshop!:

How about making a sparkling snow globe and thinking of the snowy scenery during the hot summer? During the event, participants in the snow globe workshop will receive a mascot (worth 220 yen). The snow globe making experience costs 1,980 yen (tax included) and is a workshop where you can choose and combine your favorite mascots (220 yen each) from over 100 types to create your own snow globe.
