Event details

This music concert is based on the concept of harmony between food, music, and nature. The second event in 2026 will feature tenor Ryohei Sobe, a local Ichinoseki native, and Asuka Sanekawa, who has performed in numerous concerts across Asia and Europe.

Enjoy a lunch buffet at natural food restaurant Tils and listen to familiar tunes performed to world class standards.

■Piano: Asuka Jitsukawa

Born in Chiba Prefecture, she started playing the piano at the age of three and made her debut at Suntory Hall (Tokyo) at the age of 12. Since then, she has performed in piano recitals and concerts throughout Japan, China, Korea, Vietnam, Poland, Italy, France, Austria, Belgium, and other countries. She has performed with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra, and Chiba Symphony Orchestra.
In 2011, he won first place in the piano category of the 15th Japan Mozart Music Competition. In 2012, he won first place and all special awards at the 2nd Hanoi International Piano Competition (Vietnam).
In 2016, she won first place at the Marta Di Belli Piano Competition (Austria), second place at the 11th International Mozart Competition (Italy), and three other international competitions in Europe. She was also a finalist at the 18th International Competition d'Ile-de-France (France) and the 7th Caraglio International Competition (Italy).
She studied piano under Chiyoko Yamada, Michiko Ta, Dang Thai Son, Akira Eguchi, and Markus Schirmer. After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts High School and Tokyo University of the Arts, she completed her master's degree at the Graduate School of Music. In 2019, she graduated with the highest unanimous marks from the master's program in piano performance at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Austria), and studied under Roberto Plano at the Accademia Pinerolo (Italy). She is currently based in Austria and Japan, and is active in a wide range of fields, including piano solo, accompaniment, and chamber music.

■Tenor Ryohei Sobe

After graduating from the Ichinoseki Daiichi High School, he graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts Faculty of Music with a degree in vocal music as a tenor, and completed the music education major at the Tokyo Gakugei University Graduate School of Education. He then studied German lied and Scandinavian songs as a research student at the Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Music. He won first place in the vocal music division of the 63rd All Japan Student Music Competition, high school division, Tokyo competition.
In opera, he has performed the roles of Nemorino in "The Elixir of Love," Alfredo in "La Traviata," Beppe in "Rita," and Monostatos in "The Magic Flute." In religious music, he has performed tenor solo in Beethoven's "Symphony No. 9," Bach's "Mass in B Minor," "Magnificat," Telemann's "Magnificat in G Major," and Handel's "Messiah."
In 2018, she began performing song cycles, including "The Poet's Love", "Liederkreis Op. 24", "The Beautiful Mill Girl", "To My Distant Lover", and "Swan Song". She has studied vocal music under the late Akira Takahashi, Taro Ichihara, Eiko Suga, and Kazuhiko Yokoyama, and piano under Kazuko Chiba and Mitsutaka Shiraishi. She is a member of the Vocal Consort Tokyo and the Consortias. She is a part-time lecturer at Tokyo Gakugei University.
