The chill in the mornings and evenings is starting to make me feel autumn.
In the greenhouse, the planting of komatsuna, mizuna, and garland chrysanthemum has begun. The work of carefully planting the small seedlings one by one is a mundane but very important process.
The newly planted seedlings are still a little flimsy, but as they are exposed to the sunlight inside the greenhouse, they will gradually begin to unfold their leaves.
As the temperature drops, the leafy vegetables will endure the cold and store up their sweetness.
In particular, the fragrance of chrysanthemum becomes stronger when exposed to cold air, and komatsuna and mizuna also develop a crisp texture.
It will be a while before we can harvest, but please look forward to watching them grow.
