It feels like the new year has arrived, but before we know it, we're already halfway through January. How are you all doing?
Last week on my day off, I enjoyed some "solo shabu-shabu" in the afternoon because I had heard that Fujisu Iio Brewery's "Shabu-Shabu Muchuu" sauce, with spicy Japanese pepper, was "delicious and addictive."
I prepared a simple combination of Tategamori Highland pork thigh meat for shabu-shabu and mizuna. I quickly dipped the thinly sliced pork and mizuna in a steaming pot, then added the included spicy Japanese pepper just before eating. The aroma of the Japanese pepper that spreads throughout the dish is irresistible! I finished it in no time, muttering to myself, "Delicious!"
