I received the 10-Year Service Award at the Charity Pork Show held in January.
I'm surprised that 10 years have already passed since I joined the pig farming industry right after graduating, but I also want to give myself a little pat on the back for how hard I've worked.
Even after 10 years, there's still so much I don't know about pigs, and I struggle every day, but I think having things I don't know makes the job more interesting. In particular, creating a comfortable environment for pigs has always been, and will continue to be, an eternal challenge. On the other hand, I feel that I've developed a pretty good eye for judging a pig's weight over the past 10 years. It's become one of the few skills I can be confident in.
We will continue to identify pigs with the appropriate weight to produce even higher quality pigs."Tategamori Plateau Pork"We hope to deliver this to everyone.
There's still a long way to go, but I want to keep learning and improving my skills in raising high-quality pigs. I will continue to work hard so that in another 10 or 20 years, I can look back and think, "I've really done a good job."
