Time flies, and spring is almost over this year. Recently, it has become common for daytime temperatures to exceed 25 degrees.

In the farrowing house where I work, I am in charge of caring for sows and newborn piglets. Newborn piglets are weak to the cold, but sows are very sensitive to heat.

As a result, as the day got hotter, while the piglets continued to run around energetically as usual, the mother pig began to look a little hot and started to sleep.

In order to ensure that both the sow and the piglets have a comfortable environment, we turn on electric fans and other fans at an angle that keeps the wind away from the piglets, allowing the sow to cool down. We observe the pigs' condition more than usual and work hard to create a comfortable environment.
