When you hear the phrase "domestic lamb," not many people may know what it means.
Of the lamb sold in Japan, only about 0.6% is domestically produced.
So why is only the 0.6% in circulation?
- The number of sheep raised in Japan is extremely small.
- Compared to cows and pigs, sheep are more susceptible to disease and are very difficult to raise.
In other words, this 0.6% lamb is the culmination of our producers' extraordinary passion and skill.

To be honest, I had never eaten domestic lamb before joining this company.
I had no idea.
...Although I am just one of them, on the other hand, it can also be said that my work is not widely available.
