This time, I would like to introduce winter measures for pig farms.

The autumn leaves season is over and winter has officially arrived. How are you all doing? You may have already brought out your kotatsu and started preparing your winter clothes.
Just as everyone takes measures to protect themselves from the cold in winter, pig farms also take measures to protect themselves from the cold in winter.
Pigs are sensitive to temperature changes, and piglets in particular will become ill if they live in a cold environment or a place with large temperature changes.
Therefore, pig farms prepare tools to maintain temperature before winter arrives in earnest.
We will mainly be using electric and gas heaters, so we will prepare by inspecting, repairing, and checking that they are working properly before use.

This year, in addition to the electric and gas heaters mentioned above, we also prepared electric floor mats.
It must be very warm because the piglets are sleeping on top of each other.

We installed one as a trial and it has been very popular.
We have now added another one so that the piglets can sleep more comfortably.

In this way, we raise piglets every day, using all kinds of tools to help them grow healthy.
