We planted nemophila seedlings in Rainbow Hill Garden again this year.
We added 6,000 shares compared to last year, bringing the total for this year to... 31,000 shares.
We carefully plant each seedling one by one.

This year, we planted the seedlings very close together, so they are even more densely packed than last year. A breathtaking view of the entire landscape bathed in blue. I think you will enjoy it. The sight of nemophila flowers swaying in the wind is truly a reward for spring.

Actually, at Tategamori, Nemophila insignis blue is difficult to overwinter, so it cannot be grown by sowing seeds directly in the garden.
Therefore, we sow the seeds last fall and transplant the seedlings into pots once the cotyledons appear to grow.

And surprisingly, this We managed to plant 31,000 seedlings with just two people.

We plant each seedling by hand into pots filled with soil.
With these two skilled professionals at work, a tray containing 28 pots can be planted in just a few minutes. They plant them in less than 5 minutes.

The seedlings that have been temporarily planted are carefully grown in a greenhouse.
While the seedlings are still small, cover them with plastic to maintain the temperature and monitor their growth.

During the day, open the plastic tunnel to let it get plenty of sunlight.
At night, I covered it again with plastic to keep it warm.

We repeat this process throughout the winter.
Actually, opening and closing plastic bags is more hard work than you might imagine,
I've been raising it with care every day, wishing for it to grow big and strong.

These seedlings, having survived the winter, are finally planted in the Rainbow Hill Garden in March.

This year's planting work was made possible with the help of members from the manufacturing and sales department and the marketing department. All 31,000 seedlings were successfully planted in four days.Did.
I am truly grateful to everyone who helped make the Nemophila Hill a reality.

If these seedlings grow well,The flowers begin to bloom gradually around April, with the best time to see them being from late April to mid-May.It is planned to be that.

Spreading across Rainbow Hill Garden in spring,
A "breathtaking blue landscape" created by 31,000 plants.

I would be happy if many people could actually see this view.
