Hello! This time, I would like to introduce the "5S activities" that we are implementing at our workplace.
Recently, we have been focusing on "organization" and "cleaning." We have clearly defined the locations of tools and materials, and are thoroughly implementing the habit of "putting them back after use" and "cleaning them immediately if they get dirty." This has resulted in visible results, such as less time spent looking for things, no unnecessary traffic flow, and a clean and pleasant work site.
Recently, we have tidied up our "supply storeroom." We took everything out of the shelves, separated necessary items from unnecessary ones, and got rid of the unnecessary ones! We also standardized the storage locations by labeling items to make them easier to use. We also conduct "5S audits" once a month. The person in charge patrols the site and shares small improvements with each other, so that everyone can improve their skills.
5S may seem modest, but it has the power to bring about big changes in the workplace. We will continue to work together to create a better working environment!
