1972-1986

In 1972, the challenge of founder Teruo Hashimoto began in Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture.

January 1972 Founded as Hashimoto Farm Co., Ltd. in Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture
1975 Established Hashimoto Farm Iwate Ranch Co., Ltd.
1982 First visit to Germany's ham and sausage situation
1984 Introduced American Babcock Swine
1986 Established Tategamori Ham Factory

1989-2000

In 1989, Ark Co., Ltd. was established. Preparations for the opening of Tategamori Ark Ranch (currently Ark Tategamori) progressed, and the implementation of the farm market concept began.

1989 "Mukashi Tamago" egg collection and sales start
August 1989 Construction of Tategamori Ark Ranch (currently Ark Tategamori) begins
November 1989 Established Ark Co., Ltd.
1991 Started sales of Tategamori Kogen Pork as a new brand
June 1992 Opened Tategamori Ark Ranch (now Ark Tategamori)
Herb Hall and Herb Garden Open
August 1993 Tategamori Farm Market opens
1994 Farmland BBQ House (currently Niji no Oka View Terrace) opened

2001-2007

In March 2001, the founder, Teruo Hashimoto, passed away prematurely due to illness.

September 2001 Biogas plant started operation (until 2006)
August 2005 Established Wakaba Co., Ltd. Started operating the Fujisawa Compost Center (currently the Fujisawa Organic Fertilizer Center) as a designated administrator.
2007 Began working with local farmers to feed rice (early harvest in 2008)

2008-2014

We have established a recycling-based agriculture model and have begun working to reorganize our pig farming business.

August 2008 Asparagus farm (raising piglets) started operation
April 2009 Hashimoto Farm Ltd., Hashimoto Babcock Swine Ltd., and Ark Ltd. will be integrated into Ark Co., Ltd.
May 2011 Opened Tategamori Ham Factory New Factory
April 2013 Fujisawa Farm and Hanaizumi Farm obtain HACCP certification (first company in Tohoku)
April 2014 Sakanoue Farm (fattening farm) started operation

2015-2019

Operated our own feed factory, ARK FEED, and built a system to make more use of feed rice. We will deepen recycling-oriented agriculture. In addition, we established the NPO Tira Farm and started an initiative to employ people with disabilities.

July 2015 BBQ terrace open
August 2015 Established Ark Feed Co., Ltd. (feed plant started operation in July 2017)
April 2016 Company name changed to Wakaba Co., Ltd.
July 2016 Acquisition of farm HACCP certification in the poultry farming division
December 2016 Established NPO Tira Farm (business started in May 2017)
2017 Expanded Hanaizumi Farm as a breeding farm (until 2020)
March 2017 Welcome House Kinomi Renewal Open
2018 Fujisawa farm and Hanaizumi farm acquired JGAP certification
2019 Acquired JGAP certification for poultry farming division of ranch division

2020-2023

New farm base operation. As we proceeded with the renovation work of the farm market, etc., we changed the business name from "Tategamori Ark Ranch" to "Ark Tategamori" on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of our founding.

2020 Natural Food Restaurant Tills Acquired Organic Restaurant Certification (First in Tohoku)
2021 Completed expansion of the asparagus farm (raising piglets)
Commencement of operation of Kurogi Sawa farm (fattening farm)
2022 50th anniversary of founding
April 2022 Completed farm base (distribution base) and started operation
February 2023 Business name changed to "Ark Tategamori"
April 2023 Restaurant Tills, Farm Market, Herb & Plant Shop, Grand Reopening
