As October arrives, rice harvesting is in full swing in the region. Golden rice is harvested one after another, adding color to the autumn landscape.
At this time of year, we also receive a delivery of "feed rice" from local farmers.
Feed rice is rice grown for livestock feed, and we use it for pig farming.
Our company's compound feed factory mainly uses basic feed ingredients such as corn and soybean meal, but also incorporates some feed rice brought in from the local area to produce original compound feed.

Accepting feed rice helps farmers make effective use of their paddy fields and protects local farmland. For us, it enables us to produce feed that does not rely solely on imported ingredients, reducing the risk of international price fluctuations, even if only a little.
Furthermore, the pig manure becomes organic fertilizer and is returned to the local fields. Rice raises pigs, and the pigs use their power to grow more crops. Little by little, we are working to create a recycling-oriented agricultural system in which resources are recycled in this way.
The rice harvest season is also an important time for us to connect with local farmers.
We would like to continue to work with local people to continue our circular agriculture.
