This is Ito from Sakanoue Farm, Pig Farming Division.
A "Charity Pork Show" was held on January 18th, inviting business partners.
At a charity event that also served as a New Year's party, we donated the proceeds from the purchase of Ark products.
The purpose of the donation is to provide welfare and relief funds to each disaster-stricken area.
At the long service awards held there, I received an award for 10 years of service.

When I joined the company, I had no experience in livestock farming, so I started with some anxiety, and I wasn't sure how many years I would be able to work there.
Despite this, I have managed to make it through the past 10 years with the warm support and guidance of my senior employees.
I am very grateful to have been awarded this 10-year service award.

When I think back on the past 10 years, there are some unforgettable events.
The Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011.
Due to the continued power outage, the ability to feed and water the pigs stopped, so they had to feed the pigs by hand in the dark.
It was heartbreaking to see the pigs become thin because they weren't given enough food.
Learning from this, we have installed in-house power generation equipment and built an in-house compound feed factory, Arc Feed.
We have taken measures to reduce risks in the event of a disaster.

We hope that all of our employees will continue to work together to deliver safe and secure food to our customers.
We look forward to working with you and thank you for your continued support.

I am now 65 years old, and I think I am a ``grandfather'' in the eyes of younger employees.
National policy seems to be promoting active employment of elderly people.
I don't know how many more years I'll be able to work, but I'll have to take care of my health and not be complacent.
I would like to help you.
