The taste changes dramatically depending on the nectar source plant"You too can become a beekeeper"

◇Date and time:Sunday, May 19, 2024 10:00-14:00

◇Participation fee:

Adults (junior high school students and above) 5,000 yen

Children (4 years old and above - elementary school students and under) 4,000 yen

◇Experience content:Honey harvesting experience - Making pancakes with freshly harvested honey (lunch box included)

I think that not many people know that we keep bees on our farm,

Several years ago, we installed beehives and began collecting nectar from flowers throughout the year to sell and process into other products.
Normally, I don't go near the hive because I'd be scared of the bees, but on this day I approached the hive.
You can take your time to observe the bees!!
Inside the hive, there are many honeycomb-structured bee houses and it is packed with honey. 
When put into a centrifuge, golden honey flows out.
Freshly harvested honey is especially delicious.

On the day, you will be able to sample a variety of flower honey.

10:15 Beekeeping experience
12:00 Niji no Oka View Terrace "Pancake making" (lunch box included)
14:00 End
