「ハーブの園芸療法-マイセルフケア-」
ハーブを用いた園芸療法を専門認定登録園芸療法士の宍戸多恵子先生の講座を開催します。
園芸療法とは植物や園芸活動を利用して、心や身体をより良い方向へ導く方法と言われています。
植物を通して、心、身体、精神の向上を促し、状態を改善し、環境に適応、社会復帰を促すためのリハビリテーションにも活用されている分野です。
ハーブは五感（視覚、嗅覚、味覚、触覚、聴覚）を刺激するため、園芸療法における役割は大きく、今後ますます注目を集める領域であり、土と触れ合い、筋肉を使い汗を流す、一粒の種を撒くことから、期待感、想像力が生まれてきます。
心身に大きな恵みを伝えてくれる園芸療法を生活に取り入れて心身ともに整えましょう。

1984年アメリカ合衆国カリフォルニア州エルセリト市に住み、ハーブが身近にある生活を体験したことをきっかけとして、暮らしの中の様々なシーンに活きるハーブの素晴らしさに魅了される。 帰国後1989年JHS会員となり、独自に研究を重ね、1991年にアトリエHERB AND CRAFTを設立、各セミナーの指導の他、大学、専門学校、NHK文化センターなどでの指導や講演会、テレビ他各種メディアでのハーブや園芸療法の普及にあたっている。
