Differences in Pork by Breed

"Tategamori Kougen Pork" is a brand pig that we have been breeding and improving for many years to suit Japanese tastes. While many pigs give top priority to productivity and rationality, it is a rare breed in the world that pursues the taste and quality of meat. Red meat has very fine muscle fibers, and when you put it in your mouth, you can feel the softness and umami. It does not have the peculiar smell of meat and is characterized by its firm texture.


Breeding with thorough hygiene management

Based on the idea of "delivering confidently to our customers what our family can eat safely", we all work hard to raise safe and delicious pork. Ark Tategamori acquired "Farm HACCP" in April 2013 ahead of others. This is a global standard, a hygiene management standard that continuously monitors all stages of the food manufacturing and processing process to ensure product safety. In this way, we will continue to work on producing pork that is not only delicious but also safe to eat.

Consistent distribution system

We are proud to deliver branded pork raised on our own farms to everyone. Its high quality and safety are realized by performing all the processes for delivery in-house. Ordinary pork distribution is done by different companies for breeding, processing and distribution, but our pork is raised on our own farm, processed into pork at our processing plant, and sold by mail order. We do everything consistently, such as delivering directly from the ranch to the customer.

Original processing method

We put a lot of time and effort into sorting and processing our meat, such as slicing and packing, so that our customers can enjoy our meat even more deliciously. For example, even with the same loin meat, depending on the dish, such as shabu-shabu, tonkatsu, and stew, the taste will be greatly different depending on the slicing method. In addition, the packing method used during distribution also affects the taste. In order to maintain the freshness of freshly cut meat, we have developed a nitrogen-filled pack to deliver the original taste of meat to everyone.
